Topic: How to Advocate


Speaker:  Tessa Rendina is an Admissions Officer at the University College Dublin (UCD). Previously, she was an Admission Counselor at Susquehanna University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in International Business in 2021. The following year, she attended Queen’s University Belfast and completed a Master of Arts in Conflict Transformation & Social Justice. During her time in Belfast, she interned at the Centre for Democracy & Peace Building (CDPB) and volunteered as an English Mentor at the Horn of Africa People’s Aid Northern Ireland (HAPANI). Currently, as a regional representative for UCD based in Harrisburg, PA, she represents students from the Mid-Atlantic Region. Tessa has been a PACAC member since 2022 and completed the Advocacy Leadership Program in 2023. She continues to co-lead ALP with Lucia Garabo in the hopes of connecting education experts with legislators.
