Lucia Garabo is Assistant Director of Admission at Susquehanna University, where she graduated with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Creative Writing and Italian in 2018. Lucia started her career in public service with the AmeriCorps program FEMA Corps, where she worked for a year as a Field Team Leader on disaster response, preparation, and mitigation with a team of young Americans through project deployments across the United States, from Alaska to Puerto Rico. After being awarded the Field Team Leader of the Year, Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award, and Bronze Congressional Award, Lucia continued her work as a federal employee for AmeriCorps, working in suitability and screening for the VISTA program. At the end of 2021, she joined the admissions team at Susquehanna University, where she works in domestic, international, and multicultural recruitment. A PACAC member since 2022, Lucia serves on both the Government Relations Committee and the Conference Planning Committee.

Ann is an Assistant Director of Admission at Susquehanna University.  She came to Susquehanna University Admission in 2023 after spending 28 years in K-12 education. Throughout her professional life Ann has been an educational advocate and promoted policy focused on equity and access through her roles as a PA Education Policy Fellow (PA EPFP 2018 graduate), a PA STEM Ambassador and in her role as a University of Notre Dame Senior STEM Teaching Fellow.  Her time as a United Way Board Member was spent defining and confronting issues of rural poverty in the Anthracite Regions of Central Pennsylvania particularly as they pertain to education and educational initiatives.

Ann has a passion for learning and considers herself as much a student of education as she is a professional in the field. A PACAC member since 2023 Ann finished the Advocacy Leadership Program in 2023. Since then she has been active on the Government Relations Committee. In her role at Susquehanna she covers recruitment in DC, MD, VA and WV.  She also heads up First Generation Admission initiatives, Honors Admission and Multicultural Recruitment.

Tessa Rendina is an Admission Counselor at Susquehanna University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in International Business in 2021. The following year, she attended Queen’s University Belfast and completed a Master of Arts in Conflict Transformation & Social Justice. During her time in Belfast, she interned at the Centre for Democracy & Peace Building (CDPB) and volunteered as an English Mentor at the Horn of Africa People’s Aid Northern Ireland (HAPANI). Now, back in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, Tessa continues her involvement in the Susquehanna community by volunteering her time as an assistant coach of the Women’s Soccer Team and advising SU’s Circle K chapter. In her role as an Admission Counselor, she covers recruitment in upstate New York, New England, and Delaware. Additionally, she assists with the planning and execution of admission events and with programming on the college recruiting app, ZeeMee. Tessa has been a PACAC member since 2022 and completed the Advocacy Leadership program in 2023.
