PACAC is committed to supporting the commonwealth’s largest and oldest school district. As evidence of this commitment, the Philadelphia College Rep Collective is a sub-committee established to leverage the collective resources and influence of Pennsylvania’s colleges to address many of the systemic barriers to postsecondary access that hinder Philadelphia’s college-bound students. Only 48% of Philadelphia high school students attend two or four year college and we seek to change that.

Through tailored district-wide programming, direct communication and collaboration with 440, professional development for practitioners, and amplifying the voices of school counselors, the Collective is positioned to be an integral partner for the District’s mission to increase the postsecondary options for Philadelphia’s students.
