Admission Boot Camp

PACAC is excited to offer our Admission Boot Camp (ABC) in two locations again in 2026!

This opportunity is designed for College Admissions Counselors new to the profession to discuss the value of our work, current issues in higher education, working toward equity and inclusion in our profession, and more! During the program, attendees will gather in informal settings for dialogue, idea exchange, and collaboration in addition to participating in sessions presented by industry experts. Participants can expect to depart having gained a wider lens with which to view our work and network of colleagues for continued professional connection and support.

Sample Sessions and Activities:

• ABC’s of Admissions: Funnel, Acronyms, Admissions Hot Topics and why they matter

• Travel: Road Tested; Road Approved

• Know Your Audience: Communicating with different demographics in and out of the office

• How do you learn your own school?

• Making Your Mark: Professionalism for Early-Career Admissions Professionals

Cost: College Member $75; Secondary School Member $50
           Nonmember $165
           Memberships purchased now, will be good through 8/31/2026

**PACAC provides financial support to attend PACAC professional development opportunities through the Counselor Assistance Program Grants.  Applications are due by August 1st.

Cancellation Policy: 

• Cancellations made by August 1, 2026 will be honored (minus a $10 administrative fee).
• Cancellations made after August 1, 2026 will not be issued a refund.
  (Registrations made after August 1st will be invoiced, even if not attending)
