PACAC is committed to supporting the Commonwealth State. As evidence of this commitment, the Pittsburgh College Rep Collective is a sub-committee established as a collective to mirror that of the Philadelphia College Rep Collective. The collective will work together to leverage resources. The collective will use the influence of colleges to address many of the systemic barriers to postsecondary access, that hinder college-bound students from and surrounding the Pittsburgh area.
Our collective with help create district-wide programming, direct communication and collaboration with school counselors and school college counselors. Pittsburgh College Rep Collective will create opportunities for professional development for practitioners. We will help amplify the voices of school counselors. The collective will be a way for both sides of the desk to work together in areas that continue to put students first.
