College Counseling Education Program
The College Counseling Education Program is a professional development opportunity for school counselors who are new to the field of secondary school counseling, are considering a move from elementary to secondary, who might want to brush up on postsecondary planning or who are in graduate school and interested in learning about the process of postsecondary planning and support for students, as well as private college counselors working in secondary spaces. This four-part series will focus on Pennsylvania graduation and career requirements, recommendations for student preparation, application how-tos, as well as NCAA, military recruiting, scholarships and more. To obtain your evidence of participation, you must participate in at least three of the following sessions and conduct a Capstone Project to present at PACAC’s annual conference.
Session 2 - Outward: Application Overview / Considerations for Secondary School Counselors Session 3 - Upward: Postsecondary Considerations Session 4 - Onward: Special Circumstances
