Topic:  Best Practices for Truthfulness and Transparency in College Admission Counseling

Speakers:  

Drew Kaplan is an Admissions Counselor at Lehigh University with four years of experience in admissions. He currently works with students from New York State (everywhere except The City and Long Island), Western Pennsylvania, and Ohio.

Tim Gallen has been the Director of College Counseling at Solebury School in New Hope, PA, for the last 17 years.  Prior to that, he was the college counselor at Devon Preparatory School and Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at University of Scranton, his alma mater.

Tim has been an active member of the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling, serving on several committees and chairing the committees for Finance and Budget, Governance and Nominating and Admission Practices.  He served as PACAC President in 2017-18.

Additionally, Tim has been active in multiple counselor advisory boards as well as the National Association for College Admission Counseling, serving on their Affiliate President's Council, as a delegate for PACAC, and the NACAC Finance and Admission Practices Committees.

When not working with students, Tim enjoys singing, theatre, visiting National Parks and being a Girl Scout Dad
