and PACAC Scholarship Committee Member, Justin Ledesma.  Acklynn
began her freshman year at Providence College in the Fall of 2016.

The PACAC Scholarships are each a one-year non-renewable scholarship for high school seniors graduating from PACAC member high schools. This scholarship is intended to support a student's goal of continuing his or her education.

Multiple scholarships will be awarded in April 2019.  The top recipient will receive the $1,500 Scholarship in memory of one of our PACAC founding fathers, Benjamin James.  The other three recipients will receive a $1,000 Scholarship.


High school seniors will be selected based on:

  • Academic performance in a college prep curriculum
  • Financial need
  • Commitment to cultural and intellectual diversity
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 at the end of the first semester of senior year


The scholarship application will include:

  • PACAC Scholarship Application (completed by the student) - coming soon
  • PACAC Counselor Form (completed by the high school counselor) -coming soon
  • Transcript (Part of Counselor Form)


Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Does my school need PACAC Institutional Membership?  Institutional Membership is great, but as long as at least one counselor has current 2018-2019 individual membership, then students from your school are eligible.
  • May more than one student from a high school apply?  Yes.  There is no limit to how many students from one school may apply.
  • Must students pay to apply?  No.  Students should never need to pay to apply for a scholarship.
  • How can I advertise this wonderful opportunity?  Small Poster or Large Poster
